ANTI-COUNTERFEIT ASSOCIATION
In 2011, public organizations from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus created the Non-Profit Partnership "International Alliance to Combat Counterfeit Products" Anti-Counterfeit.
Since May 25, 2015, in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law of May 5, 2014 No. 99-FZ "On Amendments to Chapter 4 of Part 1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and on invalidating certain provisions of legislative acts of the Russian Federation", the Partnership was transformed into International Association of Organizations Carrying Out Activities to Combat Illicit Trafficking in Counterfeit Products "Anti-Counterfeiting" (hereinafter referred to as the Association).
The Association is headed by a Russian politician and public figure, Acting State Advisor of the Russian Federation of the 1st class, Major General of Militia, Doctor of Law, Professor Aslakhanov Aslambek Akhmedovich.
The goal of the Association is to protect the interests of the members of the Association in the implementation of activities aimed at improving the policy in the field of protecting intellectual rights, creating a system of measures to counter the illegal circulation of industrial products, and forming a civilized market.
